Junior Firmware Engineer who has hands-on project experience with embedded microcontroller firmware.

With the rapid pace of EVs and Renewable Energy, the Electric Grid will be undergoing significant upgrades to meet the increasing demand for reliable and safe electricity. Advanced Power Technologies is well positioned to play an important role to fulfill the need for advanced monitoring to keep the Grid safe and reliable.

Our accelerated growth rate has created opportunities for entry level candidates to develop embedded firmware for the next generation monitoring and control equipment for electric utility substations. We are looking for new graduates who are interested in devoloping firmware for microontrollers.

Candidates for this position shall have worked on a Senior Project where you developed microcontroller firmware as your responsibility on your Senior Project team..

You will be developing embedded application code in C using the GCC compiler, Segger’s EMBOS RTOS, and Segger J-Trace. You will be working with our group of talented hardware and firmware engineers to push the envelope in high end ARM Cortex M processor technologies using the best tools and software libraries available. You must be team oriented and able to direct their code development to satisfy the Company’s product development specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
