American Medical Staffing is hiring School SLPs for the 2022-2023 School Year in the Montgomery County area of Maryland.

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech therapy to children in group and individual settings. We have openings for SLPs for all age ranges: elementary, middle and high school caseloads.

Caseload details:

· Preschool up to 40 students

· Elementary up to 50 students

· MS/HS up to 60 students

Caseloads will include children with literacy focus, language delay, articulation and phonology focus, developmental delay, social and emotional affect, autism spectrum diagnosis, down syndrome and other speech and language issues. The SLP may work with children in mainstream educational classrooms as well as academic life skills classrooms.

Work with a team of SLP Speech Language Pathologists in a school setting dedicated to meeting the developmental, social and cognitive needs of students in the coming school year.

School Speech Language Pathologist, SLP-CCC

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7 hours/day following the bell hours at the school

Summer/Holidays: off, not required (Summer School is optional)

Locations needed: Rockville, Silver Spring, Germantown, Bethesda

Rate: $50-60/hr, doe

Contract: 22/23 School Year.

Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech and Hearing or Speech Language Pathology and SLP-CCC status (see separate post with Clinical Fellow details on pay and supervision). Pay is commensurate with experience. On site supervision is available for Clinical Fellow candidates.
