About This Role:
This role is part of the Strategy and Operations team, which provides support to all of the program areas, globally. The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing independent contractor and vendor management workflow, from supplier registration through contracting, payment and budget tracking. The position requires strong contract, purchasing and sourcing acumen, attention to detail, creative problem solving skills, and a passion for contributing to the company mission.
A good fit for this position will have expertise in, and passion for: contracts (including but not limited to PSAs/MSAs/SOWs), artwork intellectual property agreements, along with an understanding of compliance matters. An ideal candidate would have experience working directly with artists, artist management agencies, content production companies and non-profit arts/cultural organizations. We are seeking someone who is operationally-minded and ready to roll up their sleeves managing the day-to-day responsibilities including data entry and intake management for the team’s contracts and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide vendor management support including onboarding, contracting, purchase requests, payments and troubleshooting for all vendors, suppliers, and independent contractors
• Manage global team request intake form, update regularly and communicate status to requesters
• Troubleshoot onboarding, contracting payment issues with suppliers, Sourcing team, Finance team, Legal team and talent vendors
• Maintain budget tracker with all contract spend updates
• Liaise with third-party talent and agency partners regarding onboarding, contracting, payments
• Create a safe regulatory environment by ensuring our contracts and vendors we work with are in compliance with company data and privacy policies
• Work with Sourcing and Legal teams to execute all contracts (Art Services Agreement, Professional Services Agreement, Scope of Work, Master Event Sponsorship Agreement, NDA, etc)
• Work with Procurement and Finance to ensure purchase requests and orders are opened in timely manners and payments are made within the payment term
• Assist with quarterly budget forecast for Finance
• Provide support for economic impact data collection and analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 6-8 years legal, procurement, sourcing, and/or business affairs experience
• Strong understanding of legal concepts as related to contract negotiations for artwork purchasing, sponsorships, partnerships, and independent contractor services
• Excellent relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with creative suppliers, the team and internal cross-functional teams
• Proficient in accounting/finance practices
• Proven ability to drive positive change and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Must be eligible to work in the US
