Our client is seeking an experienced Production Designer to support the creative needs for all of their sales venues: physical retail stores, web store, corporate/custom business, and their employee recognition program. The visual designer will coordinate and execute visual marketing deliverables in partnership with our creative lead and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, creative, disciplined, and flexible, while maintaining a consistent brand style for our business.
General Qualifications:
Design Experience
Proven graphic design experience (with portfolio outlining what role they took in the project shown)
Creating and manipulating graphics through Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign
Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
Prepare images for print and digital applications
Understanding of retail and/or corporate branding
Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team
Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and other team members
Experience within the retail industry is a huge plus!
Organization/Communication/Time Management/Project Management Experience
Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video (highly organized or at least willing to follow a consistent organizational structure)
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates the ability to work confidently through multiple files, edits, and versioning in a fast-paced environment
Communicating efficiently with management and clients to keep them up-to-date with project milestones.
Resourceful and problem solver
General Experience
Bachelor’s degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience
1-3 years visual design experience
Well-versed in adobe creative suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Proficient in print production and digital graphic design
Motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and work both creatively and with precision
Be a solutions-oriented thinker, working closely with various individuals and teams to provide positive ideas and recommendations
General Responsibilities
Create compelling visual designs for all digital channels (online, email, advertising, social)
Design catalogs, look books or other print material, as needed
Analyze and execute marketing campaigns
Digitally produce/touch up product imagery as needed
Design and/or edit graphics, illustrations and other creative
Maintain up-to-date market knowledge regarding digital marketing strategies
Additional design projects, as needed
