Arrow Truck Sales Hiring for Accounting Specialist Job at Overland Park, KS Full Time

Responsible for a lead role in supporting the accounting, financial, reporting, and record keeping for the Transport Funding, LLC.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

· Maintain financial security by following internal controls

· Prepares vendor payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements

· Assist in month end closing activities

· Prepare invoices and related reporting for lease purchase program accounts

· Monitors recurring monthly expenses and initiates cost savings where possible

· Prepare monthly journal entries

· Reconcile intercompany accounts

· Prepare weekly insurance files

· Verify A/P batch for accuracy

· Daily bank reconciliation and cash tracking, including credit card, ACH, check deposits and other banking items

· Maintain accurate bank registers

· Prepare monthly delinquency report

· Various office and admin items as assigned

· Quote and process customer payoffs

· Oversees reconciliation and settlement with outside vendor on collateral protection, GAP, debt waiver, and physical damage insurance programs

PERSONAL PROFILE

Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

· 3-5 years of relevant work experience desired

· Experience with basic accounting functions

· Strong problem solving and analysis skills

· Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities

· Excellent communication skills

· Self-starter; reliable in the performance of daily responsibilities

· High level PC proficiency with emphasis on Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
