ATCO Structures & Logistics USA is growing, and we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to be part of our core leadership team within Diboll, Texas where we design and build modular buildings and space rentals. The Supply Chain Manager will lead a team of 12 professionals and report directly into the Operations Manager for the Diboll facility. This person is responsible for managing and coordinating the warehousing team including the oversight of the material handling and receiving functions. On the procurement side, this leader also manages a team of buyers and material control specialists who are focused on providing critical support to manufacturing through ensuring strategic and timely procurement of project materials. This leader will support with strategy development and implementation of supply chain, warehouse, and logistics solutions for the Diboll manufacturing facility. Our ideal candidate is passionate about leadership and mentoring others. There is flexibility for this person to work from our Diboll facility ongoing or from our corporate office in Spring, and travel to the Diboll facility when required.

Activities will manage in this role:

• Mentor and lead a team of purchasing, supply chain and warehousing professionals
• Lead and oversee supply chain plans, sourcing strategies, and other purchasing activities
• Collaborate on production planning activities while ensuring your team is set up to deliver an accurate and timely flow of materials to the manufacturing facility
• Partner with the manufacturing team to maintain a shortage report and support with procuring overdue and urgently needed materials or services
• Monitor supplier performance and material order statuses and support in managing challenges as they arise
• Seek out cost savings opportunities through consolidating vendor spending and analyzing product utilization to support cost reduction initiatives
• Develop and implement project specific sourcing strategies to focus on supply challenges and long lead items
• Research market availability and lead supplier negotiation activities including pricing, guarantee, quality, shipments, and adjustments
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and leaders across the company to develop and execute supplier strategies that deliver continuous cost, performance, and process improvement benefits
• Champion and support further transitions from a manual to an automated materials management systems and processes while utilizing LEAN Six Sigma strategies
• Oversee inventory control activities, and participate in bi-annual inventory counting activity
• Analyze data such as consumption history, prevailing demand, and strategic business intelligence intel to justify and recommend inventory stocking levels to the senior leadership team based on upcoming project needs
• Act as liaison between supply chain, manufacturing, project management, receiving, and suppliers to ensure quality standards and timely delivery of materials
• Deliver creative solutions for managing damaged products and material waste
• Champion other activities such as new systems implementations or special project assignments as they arise

You are someone who:

• Has 5+ years of supply chain and/or warehouse management experience
• Has 3+ years of experience in a leadership capacity
• Experience creating and leading procurement strategies
• Effective negotiation and relationship building capabilities
• Enjoys the challenge of setting up department fundamentals and processes
• Is solution focused, open minded, and encourages their team to be engaged and drive for results
• Is open to travel if requested
• Able to pass a preemployment Drug test
