Description: Responsible for continuous improvement of airport operations by conducting audits of processes and procedures and communicating opportunities to Airport Operations Crewmembers to affect change. Conducts classroom and OJT training when required such as when the company is opening new stations.

Performance Measures

1. Performs regulatory and operational compliance audits, ensuring conformity with all Avelo Airlines, FAA, TSA, DOD, DOT and other governmental agency regulations.

• Quarterly audits are documented and retained.
• Corrective actions are in accordance with SMS guidelines.

2. Perform inspections of Business Partner activities such as GSE repairs, deicing services, and fueling services.

• Quarterly audits are documented and retained.
• Business Partner contractual requirements are maintained.

3. Assist in continuous improvement by assessing processes, talking to Crewmembers and providing suggestions

• Suggests for improved processes are received on an ongoing basis.

4. Provides initial, recurrent, and ongoing training to all Crewmembers including new hire orientation, customer service training, ramp training, and management concepts training.

• Trainees successfully complete training in allotted time.
• Quarterly training topics are deployed on time

5. Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of training through audits and observations.

• Training records are captured and stored.
• Course and Curriculum studies are conducted.

Basic Requirements

• Have flexibility to work in a sometimes-stressful environment during a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Up to 75% travel to airports locations for training and auditing purposes

Education/Experience Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of airline Airport Operations experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of training experience, preferably in airport operations
• Minimum of one (1) year of auditor experience, preferably in airport operations
• Become qualified and remain current in all responsible disciplines within 30 days including Ground Security Coordinator

Licenses/Designations

• Possess a valid US state driver’s license
