Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Outpatient Program with the following:

• Provide mission-aligned, comprehensive, strength-based leadership to assigned clinic.
• Ensure that all clients receive timely and appropriate clinical care, based on presenting need and best practice treatment guidelines.
• Ensure that staff are adequately trained to deliver services and have support to be successful in their BHN employment.
• Ensure that all agency and department initiatives are implemented to fidelity with the protocol and timelines of the agency. This may include access/ client assignment, community contract management, evidence-based practice implementation, new hire/ intern training and support, or any other area of clinic or department operations.
• Monitor operational metrics to ensure within agency and department expectations. Metrics include but are not limited to: productivity expectations, documentation guidelines for quality and timeliness, access waitlist, clinician caseloads, utilization management initiatives and clinic revenue/ expense reports.
• Document all operational activities per clinic and department protocol.
• For community contract management (as relevant) – ensure that all aspects of BHN’s relationship with community partner is high quality and compliant. Ensure the following is being implemented: adequate staffing, compliance of staff with service expectations, compliance of BHN will contract expectations and accurate, timely invoicing for services delivered, as relevant.
• Facilitate team meetings, staff meetings, trainings, etc. as appropriate and per clinic and department protocol.
• Provide regularly scheduled individual supervision meetings

What are we looking for in a Program Director?

• Master or doctoral degree. (Required)
• Massachusetts Independent license in an eligible behavioral health field. (Required)
• Experience and/ or training (or willingness to learn) working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and Substance Use Disorders (SUD). (Required)
• Must have broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques, including adults with severe and persistent mental health needs or children with serious emotional disturbance. (Required)
• Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems. (Required)
