Accounting Manager

Location: Wayne, PA

Type: Full Time/Salary

Minimum Experience: Two years of accounting supervisory experience and five years of accounting experience. BS in accounting is required, MBA or CPA/CMA certification preferred.

We are hiring for an Accounting Manage for our home office in Wayne, PA.

Role & Responsibilities

As the Accounting Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare journal entries needed for the full review and reporting of the company’s financial performance.
• Assist the Director of Accounting with the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the accounting department.
• Assist with budget process as needed.
• Perform account analysis and account reconciliations on General Ledger accounts
• Prepare and initialize accruals and recurring entries
• Assist with creating and distributing financial statements.
• Update and analyze utility spreadsheets for the company.
• Perform prepaid analysis and review expense allocations.
• Analyze all revenue and expense coding to ensure compliance.
• Manage cash distributions and reserves as directed.
• Analyze expense management of various property locations to identify inefficiencies.
• Assist in creating spreadsheets and additional reporting mechanisms for distributions.

• Interpret and evaluate results of collected data, prepare documentations, create financial reports and presentations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people.
• Ability to demonstrate attention to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel
