Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software written in C# and .NET on Windows environment
Programmatically interfacing with SQL databases and HDF5 files
Work with team of software and structural analysis engineers to understand product requirements
Participate in agile software development using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
Utilize Coverity to help maintain software compliance
Work in a hybrid virtual environment, with some time in office for collaboration and some time working virtually
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is require.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Education):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree
1+ years of experience in C# and/or Java
1+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with database backend development with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
Experience with Software Development Tools (Visual Studio)
1+ years of experience in database design/development
1+ years of experience programming with any .NET language
Experience with software version control systems (e.g. Git)
Experience with software written in C# for .Net/WinForms or Windows environment
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
