Boeing is seeking several Truck Drivers to join their team in Puget Sound, WA! A Truck Driver operates several different over the road licensed vehicles such as Semi Tractor/ Trailers, including flatbeds and doubles, Aircraft Fueling Tankers, Box Trucks, Buses, Vans, Limousines and Suburbans. Truck Drivers must have a Valid Washington state driver’s License with a clear CDL A and the following endorsements Doubles / Triples, Tanker and HAZMAT Operators typically receive and acknowledge their assignments from the transportation dispatcher via a portable device and radio.

Responsibilities Include:
Manually pick, sort, load and unload packages up to twenty feet long weighing up to 35 pounds.

Drivers must have knowledge of proper load securement procedures including using, ropes, straps, chains, ratchet binders and tarps. Some loads require the use of handtrucks, carts and pallet jacks

You will be required to manually handle fragile materials including aircraft parts and luggage.

Truck drivers are expected to work in a team environment where safety, communication and customer service are all the highest priority.

Drivers will be expected to adhere to all Boeing documented processes regarding employee expectations including, dress codes, and vehicle care.

Drivers are expected to operate vehicles safely and strictly adhere to all Boeing, Federal, State, county and local rules and laws at all times to ensure we have no CSA violations.

Drivers will be expected to perform pilot car work when required. Position requires the ability to work any location/ shift in the Puget Sound Region. I

ncluding mandatory weekend Overtime when required

Required Qualifications:
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Valid Washington state driver’s License with a clear CDL A and the following endorsements Doubles / Triples, Tanker and HAZMAT

Drivers must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written in English.

Drivers must be able to demonstrate a proficiency with portable communication devices including, radios, phones, tablets, and hand held GPS devices, etc… Job requires the ability to sit, stand, push, pull and reach frequently.

Must be willing to work any shift and/or locations

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma

Flatbed experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CDL driver is preferred

Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Typical Education/Experience:
This job requires the availability to work various shifts and at various locations and occasionally requires mandatory over time.

Prefer Truck Driving accredited school. Preferred related trade school or apprenticeship program completion
