OPPORTUNITY: This is an ideal role for a highly competent HR leader with upside potential. Own HR for multiple sites (all in New Jersey) and report to Group GM and have a dotted line to CHRO at corporate. Lead a team of three (soon to be 4). Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Employee Relations & Communications: be visible across all segments of the business. Company has strong tenure at exempt levels due to proactive programs and philosophy. Ensure a healthy culture. No unions.
• Business Partnering: Be the HR resource with R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, finance, sales, customer support, marketing, and IT
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Be involved at all levels to evaluate process; key on senior exempt level and manage hourly and lower salaried roles
• Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure education and awareness on compliance related matters; supervise a trainer and administrate training goals to performance and safety goals. Lead COVID testing and compliance
• Organization Alignment & Succession Planning: Team with executive leadership on organizational structure, talent management, and learning & development
• Performance Management: Partner with leadership on setting goals and expectations as well as continual and formal performance management reviews.
• OSHA & Safety: Partner with Safety Manager on policies and programs
• Compensation & Benefits: Managed by corporate; partner on any opportunities for improvement or challenges

REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA required; MBA/MS and/or SPHR are a plus. Seek 10+ years of HR experience with at least 4+ years as the #1 HR professional in a multi-site manufacturer with over 400 employees. Must have strong employment stability. Ideal candidates will come consumer products manufacturers (e.g., beverage, cosmetics, food, health, nutritional). Local candidates only.

REWARD: $130,000 to $160,000 plus 15% target bonus and upside.
