Burke Decor is currently looking for an experienced Retail and Wholesale Sales Administrative Assistant to work on supporting business development and operational initiatives within our B2B and B2C segments. Ideal candidates should be energetic, optimistic, intelligent team members to be trained in dealing with complex customer service for e-commerce, to assist on interior design projects and help support our distributorships throughout the United States and Internationally. Our product assortment features design-savvy lifestyle goods, lighting, furniture, wall coverings, home decor, tableware, bath and body and accessories. Founded in 2007 as an online-only retail boutique for home décor, Burke Decor launched with a select assortment of 15 brands. As an early, independent, entrant in the e-comm space, we were fortunate to experience some great press in print magazines and online which helped propel sales and brand recognition within the very traditional world of home decorating. Burke Decor currently features over 520,00 unique SKUS and 285 brands across 10 unique websites. Job Description

Ideal candidates for the position will illustrate the following qualities:

• 3 years experience in retail sales or showroom sale or equivalent
• Experience supporting buyers, wholesale accounts and B2B business channels preferred
• Experience processing and expediting orders, change orders and custom quotations for custom purchase orders
• Knowledge of various POS and internet sales channels; e-commerce platforms, shipping/logistics, order processing preferred
• Professional, polite, sales and team-oriented players willing to participate in all aspects of a busy e-commerce and brick and mortar operations
• Experienced with over the phone, email and in-store retail sales
• Excellent email and written communication skills
• Ability to learn how to quote customers quickly and reference pricing guidelines and sales materials for a multitude of manufacturers
• Experience with retail pricing and inventory systems
• Ability to comprehend multiple aspects of operations and to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Experience with office administrative support (telephones, filing, web, MS Office, technical troubleshooting).
