We are hiring a Marketing and Communications Coordinator – Bilingual, Hybrid work option for our retail store, EcoBuilding Bargains, the largest reclaimed building materials store in New England. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator may choose a partially remote work arrangement, with some time in the store to access materials and other times working from home if preferred. The Coordinator is responsible for providing EcoBuilding Bargains brand management in English and Spanish. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will oversee all digital and print marketing and promotion, community events, and other promotional functions of the store.

Marketing and Communications
Develop and administer digital communications in English and Spanish including social media management and engagement. Provide web maintenance, SEO, and content for our eCommerce store and our website. Create graphic communications including design and videography for promotional materials, handouts, emails, meetings and presentations.
Respond to customer inquiries across social media channels. Conduct virtual sales appointments. Respond to inquiries accurately and efficiently while being the voice and brand of the Center for EcoTechnology.
Create and maintain relationships with aligned non-profits, Chambers of Commerce, professional societies, etc. to improve regional awareness of EcoBuilding Bargains. Foster opportunities for knowledge and resource sharing.

This is a full-time salary non-exempt position. What You Offer
Commitment to community non-profit mission of EcoBuilding Bargains and CET. Bi-lingual English/Spanish required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail marketing and communications environment. College degree in communications, business administration or related field preferred. Knowledge of home construction/renovation desirable.
Proficient use of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite software and the ability to learn new software easily required. Experience with WordPress preferred. Video experience required; experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or other video editing software preferred. Complete knowledge of tracking and usage of Social Media platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok.
Excellent phone, email, and in-person communication skills required. Self-starter with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to function in an office: repetitive keyboarding movements and sitting 6-8 hours/day. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to walk around the EcoBuilding Bargains showroom to be familiar with the ever-changing inventory and administer virtual appointments.
