The Role of HR Generalist
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day human resources support for Chalmers Insurance Group across at its 8 business locations and approximately 100 co-workers. This role will report to the Human Resources Manager (HRM) and work closely with the Controller during the bi-weekly payroll process.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company’s managers/supervisors in order to help them with their human resource needs.

We have adopted a hybrid, flexible working schedule. Most of our co-workers enjoy three days from the office and two days from their home offices after a 90-day onboarding period. This position would be eligible for a hybrid schedule. We have eight locations in Maine and New Hampshire and this position is based in our Bridgton, ME office. Some travel to others offices may be required.
