Studio Designer

Are you good at instructing others and planning a step-by-step process to get things done? Our Rhode Island client is looking for a Studio Graphic Designer for their Instructions team. In this role, you will concept, design and execute product-guides that communicate instructions and brand messages. Collaborate with different departments including Marketing, Engineering, Design and Development. Discover new consumer insights to guide design decisions and help direct photo shoots (model and product), illustration/illustrators and outside resources as necessary. You will integrate feedback from multiple teams and use consumer insights to effectively communicate product assembly and operations to fit the brand strategy.

Requirements:

• Creativity, focus and strong self-management
• 3+ years’ graphic-design experience; minimum 3 years’ experience managing projects and schedule. Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (or equivalent experience)
• Impeccable organization skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, costs and schedules
• Understanding and working within cost parameters for design solutions
• Monitor and abide by legal, licensor, and regulatory requirements
• Expert in CS6 InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Comprehensive knowledge of production requirements and printing projects
• Ability to a build production-ready files
