Community Waste Disposal Hiring for Transportation Route Supervisor Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

This position is responsible for providing service excellence through the daily supervision of drivers on trash & recycle collection routes and for driving CDL vehicles to cover routes when necessary. Class “A” or “B” Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.

Duties include but not limited to:

Supervising drivers and monitoring assigned routes. Training new employees in use of equipment, safety and driving hazards. Riding with drivers to detect errors in driving the vehicle or servicing accounts. Directing investigations into causes of customer complaints. Providing employee supervision and problem solving. Driving CDL vehicles and covering routes when necessary.

Skills:

• Good analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in windows-based computer, and computer systems.
• Leadership experience and supervisory skills.

Requirements:

Minimum one-year supervisory experience. Class “A” or “B” Commercial Driver’s License preferred not required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Previous waste/recycle experience is a plus. Applicants must live within 30 miles of zip code 75220 (Dallas, TX).
