Operations Manager
Reports To: General Manager

SUMMARY: The Operations Manager is responsible for improving the overall profitability of the Company through increased sales, improved office and shop efficiencies and lowering costs of daily operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement. * Leads discussions and decisions pertaining to recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. * Communicates job expectations and enforces policies and procedures to employees. * Plans, monitors, and reviews job contributions of employees. * Identifies and evaluates safety risks associated with installation projects and all employee activities, takes appropriate action to control safety risks. * Maintains safety training program. * Conducts intermittent job site visits and follow up site visits to check work quality meets highest company standards. * Handles complex and escalated customer service issues or inquiries; ensures proper action and resolution is taken to resolve. * Oversees the organization of warehouse inventory; ensures the warehouse is adequately stocked with materials and supplies. * Inspects the condition of all company equipment; ensures safe and effective use of equipment. * Ensures vehicle inspection process is being completed and manages schedule of service and maintenance on all company vehicles. * Performs all other duties as assigned. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with General Manager, clients, staff, vendors, etc.

• Mathematical Skills –Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. * Computer Skills -To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an average knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Other Qualifications-Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered under company insurance is required; Daily travel is required (Truck Provided). PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They may frequently travel to job sites to conduct inspections and walkthroughs. The individual needs to occasionally assist on a jobsite and access tools, equipment, parts, and other necessary items to complete work. They must be able to detect install issues and determine what action needs to be taken. The individual occasionally positions self to operate and conduct minor vehicle maintenance and adjustments. They use their hands continuously while performing job duties. Most activities involve fine and gross manipulation of items. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in the office and on the jobsite. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work and others work for errors and make adjustments as necessary. They must regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 75 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the individual frequently works in a controlled climate. They occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles based on the condition at customer locations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The individual is frequently required to travel by automobile.

*Sign on Bonus after 90 days within good standing – no call offs, no tardies

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
