Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer/Manager will design products using existing code as a reference and help to build and manage a team of software engineers to develop, implement, and maintain our new and unique software solutions.

Your role will include:

• Working with key stakeholders, partners, customers, and leadership to grow the company from a minimum viable product to a well-architected, sustainable collection of cloud services and web + mobile applications.
• Making critical decisions regarding application architecture and cloud deployment.
• Creating a base DevOps pipeline to ensure reliable deployment and lightning-fast iterations.
• Building and leading a successful team of software engineers to implement the above solutions and services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or PhD in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited university.
• 5-7 years of applicable experience.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team.
• Having the drive to take on large tasks, gain necessary knowledge to make informed decisions, and execute on those decisions.
• Experience and strong interest in working with distributed computing systems, cloud deployment strategies, web applications, mobile applications, and digital advertising systems.
• You want to lead a team of software engineers to assist with building solutions you help design.
• You are comfortable being asked questions you may not know the answers to and learning what you need to answer those questions.
• Experience driving task breakout, estimation, prioritization, and assigning work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Experience with web development.
• Experience with large scale cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with building DevOps and deployment flows.
• Experience with digital advertising architecture and infrastructure.
• Experience building fast and accurate product search systems.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Process improvement experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $118,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
