Tasks:

• Reviews all mail and incoming communications and distributes as appropriate.
• Enters invoices into accounting system and prepares payments.
• Posts financial transactions to appropriate ledgers and journals
• Maintains detailed and updated vendor files.
• Matches Bills of Landing and invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Works with Buyers and other team members to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
• Is responsible for the accuracy and timely collection of customer receivables
• Is responsible for depositing all customer payments
• Manages credit limits for all CUS customers
• Reconciles the bank account monthly
• Assists with journal entries and monthly closing.
• Assists with Fixed Assets, with budgeting and rolling forecasts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business
• Experience: 3-4 years of general accounting experience
• ERP (SAP) Experience preferred
• Demonstration of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage a wide variety of activities and functions simultaneously
• Electronics industry background is a plus
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters proactively, and follows-through on projects to completion.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Works well in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Can present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner
• Is proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs
• Has great attention to detail
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills / good customer service demeanor
• Able to analyze and solve problems.
