The Director, Supply Chain Planning is a highly visible role within the Constellation Beer Division that is responsible for leading Demand Planning, Network Supply Planning and Deployment Planning to generate the best possible plans to meet or exceed the Division’s business objectives. This leader develops supply chain planning strategies, practices, and initiatives that are aligned cross-functionally and support the Division’s business strategy. As the functional owner of planning the Director, Supply Chain Planning plays a critical role bridging commercial needs with operational capabilities and is ultimately responsible for developing accurate and feasible depletions, billings, and shipment plans over the mid-to-long term horizon that will drive the S&OP Process. Collaboration with senior leaders in Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales is critical to success in this role.
OPEN REMOTE WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
Directs functional planning teams, coaches for improved performance, fosters professional development and diversity, and drives to key departmental objectives.
Identifies and drives opportunities to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of supply chain planning supporting cost, service, and quality initiatives and drives process improvement initiatives to successful completion.
Works with Sales, Marketing, Distributors to develop SKU-level, brand-level, and business-level demand forecasts and provides analysis and rationale for any gaps between monthly S&OP plans and financial plans.
Works with Customer Management, Logistics & Transportation, and MPS/MRP to understand network and supply constraints; develops solutions to address any gaps between capability and demand.
Strategically leads team in the use and upkeep of the Planning Tools.
Sets performance objectives, reviews results, and works with peers and team to drive KPI improvements (i.e. forecast performance, inventory, service, cost, etc.)
Pursues opportunities to transform supply chain planning process, systems, and tools, and enables collaborative planning with strategic business partners.
Provides input and supports the Director, SI&OP in the monthly S&OP discussions with cross-functional Senior Leaders on status of S&OP plans, inventory status, issue resolution, etc.

B.A./B.S. majoring in Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field or equivalent working experience. MBA preferred.
8+ years’ experience in Planning, Finance, Optimization, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Production roles
Leadership experience managing a team of professionals required.
Experience standing up practices and transforming processes. Project management leadership experience a plus. Process improvement & demonstrated results turn-around a plus.
Experience with ERP and APS software, business intelligence tools & business analytics software
Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required.
Solid, straightforward, and professional oral and written communication skills, including presenting data and analysis clearly to management.
Ability to work with all levels/functions within CBI and with external business partners.
Experience in supply chain role in CPG industry or beverage manufacturer
APICS certification a plus.
Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
Self-directed and possess a sense of urgency.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, related internal functions, external partners, and on project teams.
Process improvement & demonstrated results turn-around a plus. Customer management skills and experience a plus.
