Our team of caregivers, coaches and mentors design programming specific to each family’s needs and wants. We meet each family face to face to listen to the challenges they may be facing to develop a plan to incorporate opportunities, intentionality, and purpose into the lives of individuals with sensory and motor differences.

This position is ideal for those interested in working with autism or similar differences.

About the Position: We are looking for male caregivers/life coaches for an individual with autism in his 20’s. Caregivers are tasked with keeping the individual safe and assisting with therapists and life coaches during day shifts. There is morning, day and evening shifts available. We have part-time and full-time positions open. Caregivers can promote to becoming Life Coaches if they demonstrate the capabilities and commitment needed.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Work responsibilities could include assisting with coaches and therapists if working during the day.
• Caregivers will be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention which will provide the tools to assist in keeping the client safe.
• Assisting with bathing and hygiene.
• Assisting with daily outings (Going to the park, out to eat, on hikes etc.)

Life Coach Responsibilities:

• Fulfill all duties related to caregiving.
• Implement Program: Various therapeutic modalities including fitness, assisted technology, alternative communication, life skill development.

Requirements:

• Must be able to perform physical work for at least 8 hours.
• Male. We do not discriminate between men and woman. Due to the specific needs of the client we are looking for a male.
• We hire individuals who uphold integrity, character, leadership, stewardship and hard work. Experience is preferred but not necessary. You will be trained by a professional.
• The position requires that you are willing to drive to the clients home and perform services within the home or surrounding community.
• Reliable form of transportation and drivers license.
• Must be willing to work with individuals with impulsivity, high dysregulation, anxiety, OCD and behavioral issues.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 Per Hour depending on experience.
