Objective

• Preparation of complex and review of federal and state income taxes for individuals and businesses.

• Oversee technical accuracy of work performed

• Participate in Tax Planning and Tax Strategy meetings and development

• Oversee, prepare or review of Tax Return and Trial Balance tie-down needed for tax filings

• Manage client deliverables

• Preparation and review of internal memorandum, written correspondence/guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or Treasury Department.

• Research various tax matters

• Collaborate with clients and internal CPAs

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.

• CPA Certification required.

• 7+ years recent experience in public accounting tax environment.

• Experience preparing tax returns, individual, partnership and corporate.

• Experience managing multiple client engagements

• Strong accounting and analytical skills.

• Strong computer skills: proficiency in Thomson Reuters products a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Data analytic skills a plus

• Detail oriented & ability to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
