Project Manager/Mechanical Engineer

Vice President of HVAC Construction is a key leadership position within our organization. This candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our Sheetmetal, Pipefitting and Plumbing departments. We’re seeking an individual who will work closely with our project managers to solve complex problems through innovative designs.

· Develop and foster relationships with building owners, general contractors, and property managers.

· Design, estimate and submit bids for customers.

· Assist Project Managers in providing solutions to existing service customers as needed.

· Review and evaluate formal bidding opportunities in the traditional engineer-contractor market.

· Promote growth through securing profitable sales and project opportunities in the design-build and retrofit markets.

· Lead Construction Manpower meetings and assist in manpower sharing of resources.

· Stay current with updated industry codes and standards, PDH credits, etc.

· Prepare full designs as required for secured design-build projects, using AutoCAD or Revit.

· Collaborate with other Project / Account Managers on opportunities to facilitate a culture of teaming.

· Attend trade shows and industry events.

· Monitor department performance against goals to ensure progress is being made.

· Identify and mentor potential leaders.

· 8+ years working in the construction HVAC/Plumbing industry.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing design.

· Organizational and leadership skills.

· AutoCAD/Revit proficiency.

· Management experience preferred.

· Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
