Responsibilities – Accounting Specialist:

• Process vehicle retail and wholesale transactions and fulfill all duties required to complete the transaction
• Handle the backend of Dealer Trades including communicating with other dealerships
• Reconciling GL accounts
• Post Journal Entries
• Reconcile Bank Daily and Monthly, along with Reserve and Floorplan statements
• Communicate extensively with customers, internal departments, and financial institutions
• Assist with Title Work
• Will assist with additional accounting duties
• Abide by all GAAP principles and standards
• Overtime is required for month end preparation and closing along with other occasional instances as needed

Qualifications – Accounting Specialist:

• Accounting experience and attention to detail
• Excellent communication with ability to interact cohesively with all aspects in and out of the dealership
• Ability to solve problems in a professional and tactful manner
• A positive attitude, good work ethic and professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass pre-employment – Background and Drug screening
