We’re currently in need of an experienced Director of Clinical Quality. The ideal candidate will possess a California RN license, Bachelor’s degree in nursing, 2 years of patient care experience, and 5 years of quality improvement experience. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Plus, intermediate MS Office skills.

Responsibilities:

· Oversees accurate collection and reporting of all CMS required metrics and quality registry metrics including core measures, Bariatric, Stroke, TAVR, LAAO, Cath PCI, VPS and others as required.

· Oversees Medical Staff Peer Review and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE).

· Oversees Clinical Documentation Improvement efforts to ensure physician documentation accurately captures the patient’s condition.

· Directs and/or participates in clinical performance improvement teams to support achievement of organizational goals including Top Goals, Physician Co-Management and Specialty Certifications. Ensures consistent documentation of improvement initiatives to facilitate learning across the system and celebrate successes.

· Works closely with Vice President, Quality Support Services, to plan, prioritize, and implement improvement initiatives. Apprises Vice President, Quality Support Services, of progress of improvement initiatives. Assists VP in achieving and sustaining measurable improvements through planning, implementing, and evaluating improvement initiatives.
