We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our Operations team in the US. This position will provide support to the Passive Logistics Team. The Logistics Specialist will work with all personnel, third parties, and processes for Demand Fulfillment. Key responsibilities include planning and managing domestic and international transportation of shipments, managing transportation/service costs and contractual requirements with third party logistics providers. This position will focus mainly on regional fulfillment needs. The Logistics Specialist will report to the Logistics Manager.

What You’ll Do: *

Planning and managing domestic and international transportation

• Preparation and submission of documentation required for Customs and Excise clearances
• Establish and manage relationships with 3rd party Logistics Service Providers
• Maintain records of import/export as necessary under statutory requirements
• Coordinate movement and delivery of demonstration containers with various stake holders to ensure successful execution (Sales, 3rd Party Logistics Providers, customers, etc.)

• Maintain key metrics to monitor delivery performance for customer orders and RMA shipments
• Identify possible risk to on time delivery performance
• Verify bill of lading and invoices against orders
• Negotiate costs of transportation and services
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to meet business needs (Customer Support, Finance, Technical Support, etc.)

What You’ll Bring:

• High school or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years logistics/supply chain experience
• 2+ years direct or indirect (3PL) international distribution experience

• Excellent team, communication, organizational and presentation skills
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills required
• Excellent customer service experience. Must have the ability to work with varied internal and external customers and respond to variable customer requirements and demands
• Persistent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
• Self-starter who will drive results with minimal supervision

• Ability to organize data and responsibilities with prioritization by level of importance
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Comfortable and experienced working within a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), intermediate proficiency in Excel preferred
• Experience with Power BI analytics preferred, but not required
