Dawson, a K-12 independent school of 520 students located east of Boulder on a beautiful 107-acre campus, seeks a Director of Development. The school community is engaged, collaborative, and committed to the healthy development and education of all its students. The Director of Development oversees the development office, including donor cultivation and stewardship, the Dawson Fund, capital campaign support, event planning, alumni relations, volunteer efforts, corporate/foundation outreach, and related communications efforts. This individual will develop and implement strategies, tactics, and metrics in each of these areas to maximize community support for all aspects of the school’s operations and strategic priorities. An integral part of this role is the ability to build relationships with parents, faculty, staff, students, members of the board, and others within the community. The Director of Development reports to the Head of School (CEO) and serves on the school’s leadership team and Development Committee of the Board of Trustees.

The salary range for this position is $95,000- $125,000 and commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) and generous time-off.
