Overall Purpose: Directs and manages the relationship cycle of outsourced external ‘vendor’ customer service or sales service centers.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: By providing operational leadership, directs vendor management teams who closely manage the relationship cycle with assigned external customer service or sales service centers. Identifies, evaluates, and develops vendor options and suitability to perform outsourced activities, projects and programs. May performs site visit from time to time of vendor centers to evaluate logistical and performance capabilities and first pass compliance assessment. Foster Facilitate the development of relationships with vendors, ensures relationships stability for long-term contracts, mediate performance and scorecard disputes. Develops and evaluates opportunities to improve, enhance or expand vendors; establishes vendor audit processes and develops the plans in conjunction with the project team. Develops & implements metrics to assess vendor performance and evaluates opportunities to improve, enhance or expand vendors. Maybe involved in the selection process of vendor contracts, vendor negotiations, and or new vendor site locations. Directly supervises a team of vendor management mangers or vendor management specialist. Direct the flow of the operation and determine how to fix problems as they arise; responsible for training, evaluating, and managing performance evaluations of direct reports. Influences decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Education: Typically requires a Bachelor Degree or equivalent.

Education: Bachelor’s or Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Typically requires 10 or more years of experience and at least two years of management responsibility. Supervisory: Yes.
