Established commercial and residential architectural interior design and construction management firm seeking a Spanish translator to join our team. A great opportunity for a hardworking, detail-oriented and dependable individual with experience in both residential and commercial architectural interior design and project management. Ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced work environment with multi-tasking within tight deadlines, taking initiative and being self-motivated.

What you will do

• Provide copy editing and proofreading services for a variety of retail clients.
• Ensure copy reflects proper grammar, syntax and spelling and adheres to established format guidelines, brand style guides and creative strategy.
• Review flyer, newspaper and catalogue copy for effectiveness, accuracy, clarity and consistency.
• Proofread pages for spelling, punctuation, format, style and pricing.
• Interpret and transfer client requests to proofs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to maximize overall efficiency of workflow.
• Provides interpreter/translator services to patients, clients and their families, and the staff of ACMC; provides telephone translations.
• Mostly, translating from English to Spanish Language strictly.

Requirements:

• Certification in written translation preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in written translation to and from English and the target language.

• Operational knowledge of word processing and DTP software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Skills to perform assigned work accurately, completely and clearly with the greatest possible fidelity to the spirit and letter of the original communication.

• Ability to translate in writing information to and from English and the target language.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $33.00 – $45.00 per hour
