Enhanced Diagnostics Hiring for Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (part-time) Job at Ogden, UT Part Time

Looking for a skilled, Registered Vascular Technologist to join our team! You would be part our amazing Office-based Cath Lab assisting our physicians that have devoted their lives to saving limbs and minimizing the pain and suffering caused by vascular disease.

As an Ultra sonographer, you would perform vascular ultrasound examinations of a patient’s lower extremities (and other studies as needed) while balancing the needs of patients and maintaining an efficient workflow of the office.

In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position would be part-time with hours increasing as available in Ogden or a full-time option possibly with travel between Ogden and Sandy. Travel stipend offered with full-time option.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations of patients to create a Venous Flow Map for purposes of recommending a safe, effective treatment plan.

• Assist the Physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient and how that treatment plan addresses their specific needs.

• Set up and clean-up the procedure rooms, exam rooms and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.

• Perform additional ultrasound examinations as determined by the Physician to ensure the effectiveness of treatment.

• Adhere to the standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain an efficient schedule and flow of patients.

• Work with the practice staff and Physicians to review the ultrasound schedule to maintain the patient load at an efficient and productive level.

• Develop and maintain quality of work to comply with the standards of care set by the company through continued education and interaction with other medical professionals.

• Maintain equipment and manage the supply inventory to ensure continued and effective operations.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT/RVS) or able to attain in 6mo. – 1yr.

• Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team

• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
