Our Client in Cedar Rapids/Coralville is looking for a Client Accounting Specialist

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with multiple clients, learning their operations and optimizing accounting workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill certain aspects of bookkeeping and accounting needs for multiple clients, including processes related to A/P and A/R management, payroll, month-end close, bank and GL reconciliations, as well as financial reporting and analysis.

• Create and maintain schedules for various accounts such as fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, etc.

• Prepare journal entries for month and year-end close and perform close processes.
• Collaborate with firm management and other team members to ensure all clients expectations are met and exceeded.

• Timely and effective communication, meet deadlines and deliverables, and provide value through exceptional accounting services and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years’ of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise excellent judgment aligned with firm values
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Outcome-oriented – results focused with a strong performance culture
• Team-oriented – cooperative and collaborative

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
