Eye Specialists of Illinois Hiring for Surgery Scheduler Job at Park Ridge, IL Full Time

We are a busy ophthalmology practice that takes pride in providing excellent care to our patients. We are looking for a surgical scheduler/coordinator responsible for all aspects of surgery scheduling including working with the surgical centers to coordinate the surgery schedule and ensure required equipment is ordered. You will meet with patients to help navigate them through the process of what needs to be done pre and post operatively including obtaining medical clearance from their primary care physician. Obtain prior authorizations, referrals, and/or confirm insurance benefits and eligibility as well as prepare the doctor’s lineup and charts. Experience in surgery scheduling a must and experience in ophthalmology including oculoplastics a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
