JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary – This position will be responsible for working with the Creative Services Manger along with the production and sales departments staff in producing commercials, programs, and content. This includes marketing communications with creative development, graphic design, photography and videography.
Responsible for conceptualizing, writing, shooting and editing cutting edge commercials and program content for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Involvement in house productions and client video productions; including camera operations; studio lighting and preparation; editing; commercial advertising; and field and sports television.
· Properly coordinate and schedule all aspects of Commercial Production, including working with clients, sales staff and agencies.
· Participate in the preparation and managing of production budget.
· Perform other related duties as required.
· Accurately and promptly turn in all client billing to Department Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
· Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills with strong ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
· Expertise in all major business and creative software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.).
· 5-10 years previous production or creative services experience with broadcast media knowledge.
· Experience in all aspects of remote and in-house video production; producing, directing, editing, shooting and writing television programs. Proud8icng long form programming a plus.
· Ability to multitask, detail oriented, proactive, accustomed to working under deadlines, coachable, adapts positively and quickly to change.
· Ability to work independently and think strategically. Flexibility and receptiveness in learning new tasks and eager to take on more responsibility.
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcast Media or related field.
· Core competencies are the ability to write, light, shoot, edit and finish modern television commercials and long form programming.
· Ability to maintain digital assets, archives and edit systems.
· Advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats.
· Ability to maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skills.
· Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
