The Opportunity
**
**FE International are currently looking for a Staff Accountant, who will report and assist the Financial Controller in managing all aspects of the company’s accounting/finance function. This includes assisting with corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as the development/implementation of internal controls, finance systems, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer invoices/billings for review and prompt delivery;
• Ensure cash and credit card transactions are accurately recorded and explained;
• Reconcile accounts receivable weekly, ensuring accuracy and prompt collection of receivables;
• Ensure timely entry, approval, and payment of vendor invoices;
• Help manage employee travel and expense programs;
• Assist with the month-end close process, by preparing journal entries, reclasses & adjustments;
• Reconcile accounts including bank, credit card, intercompany, prepaid, accrual, fixed assets, etc;
• Assist with the monthly consolidated financial, management, and regulatory reporting;
• Prepare analytics to aid in evaluating business activity, including trend & variance analyses;
• Help prepare year-end financial statements and tax returns;
• Support financial and regulatory audits as needed;
• Promote process improvement initiatives;
• Build dashboards, KPI’s, analytics, and other key reporting mechanisms;
• Help manage the implementation of a new ERP system, NetSuite, including legacy data migration; and
• Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as needed.

Required Skills:

• Must have experience working with NetSuite;
• Proficient with Word and Outlook. Must have advanced knowledge of Excel;
• Experience with multiple legal entity operations, intercompany transactions, and consolidations;
• Well versed with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), concepts, and practices; and
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented and independent.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is an advantage;
• Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience; preferably in the financial services industry;
• Experience with a Big 4 firm preferred, but not required; and
• CPA.
