Fedex Express Hiring for Flight Training Instructor Job at Memphis, TN Full Time

Job Duties: Performs flight training utilizing FedEx flight training programs. Assesses student progress, assist in development & review of training curricula and examinations. Operates FedEx simulation equipment in accordance with FedEx flight training procedures and requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Multi-engine ATP pilot certification required.

Minimum Experience
Minimum 1500 hrs total time fixed wing required, jet/multi-engine turbo prop preferred. 1000 hrs pilot-in-command fixed wing jet/multi-engine turbo prop preferred. Three (3) yrs experience as an aviation instructor or standards check airman in a formal training program (military or part 141, 142, 135, 121 curricula, airplane, simulator or classroom) preferred. Glass cockpit experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong interpersonal & communication skills required.

Job Conditions
Candidate must successfully obtain aircraft type rating in assigned aircraft & successfully qualify as a flight training instructor in assigned aircraft within six (6) months of start date, unless mgmt determines that business needs require an extension. Candidate must maintain qualification as outlined in Instructor Evaluator Advanced Qualification Program (IEAQP). FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
