We are looking for an experienced Retail Director to join our team and help grow the company’s Bricks & Mortar.

Our Candidate:

The Retail Director is responsible for driving growth, delivering customer experience, building teams, and optimizing performance across multiple stores, both physical and digital. They are accountable for results. The ideal candidate must be a good administrator, have a thorough knowledge of business processes, and be a leader who creates the strategy and is prepared to put in the effort and hard work to make sure the strategies are implemented and executed.

Position Manager: Reports to CEO

Compensation: Salary plus bonus

Hours: Full Time, 40 + hrs/week including weekends and holidays

Travel: 75%; within Nashville metro area

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive Growth: Develop and execute strategies to capture revenue opportunities and track metrics to measure success. Lead store teams to achieve goals. Monitor business practices and implement innovative ways to improve product and performance.

• Deliver Customer Experience: Create and implement a standard for consistent customer experience for all channels. Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction. Drive strategies for improvement.

• Build Teams: Act as liaison between stores and leadership. Supervise and support store management. Coach and develop team members. Acquire top talent through direct involvement in the interview, hiring, and onboarding process. Manage ongoing team performance, addressing performance issues and conflicts as they arise. Ensure team members are incented and store environments remain positive.

• Optimize Performance: Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics according to business objectives and apply improvements. Review financial information and adjust the operational budget to promote profitability. Support managers with day-to-day operations. Resolve any operational issues, utilize merchandising to increase customer engagement, marketing, loss-prevention, Implement best practices and better efficiencies.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Retail or Business Management or related field preferred.

• 7+ Years of increased retail management, requiring the art of people management.

• 2+ Years of Multi-Unit management.

• Proven track record of successful business management with P&L responsibilities.

• Experienced in MS Office and various business software (POS, CRM)

• Experience supporting growth in a small and growing entrepreneurial environment is preferred.

Required Physical Abilities

• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another regularly

• Must be able to sit and use a computer for an extended period of time

• Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents repetitively

• Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on the computer display screen, in hand-written forms, and printed on paper

• Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,931.00 – $72,513.00 per year
