Summary:

LightArt is an innovative custom lighting manufacturer, located in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. Our fixtures are designed out of our Seattle studio, with fabrication both here in Seattle and Salt Lake City.

Detailed Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable customer service representative. In particular, someone who’s ready to take ownership of the sales administration needs and support the sales and project management teams. This position is based in our Seattle office. Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Exceed customer service expectations for customers and external sales teams

• Answer incoming calls and assist walk-in visitors

• Provide customers with information on products and service

• Prioritize workload without supervision

• Monitor and support general info emails

• Utilize company software with skill and proficiency

• Create and track requests for quotes

• Maintaining and updating sales and customer records

• Support outside sales team with sample support and sample order placement

• Perform miscellaneous duties as required to support outside sales reps and project management team

• Ability to learn and maintain strong knowledge of standard lighting product lines

• Ability to react quickly and accurately to customer requests

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Mac OS

• Customer service experience – with a “go above and beyond” mentality

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to answer a high volume of calls and emails daily

• Attentiveness and patience

• Time-management skills

• Team player – positive attitude and encourages collaboration

Bonus Skills:

• Adobe InDesign and SketchUp

• Commercial lighting experience

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of customer service principles, practices and experience is preferred.
