Come join the team and lead and guide our amazing Marketing team and efforts for two world class destinations!

Position Description: Responsible for promoting and selling Glenwood Caverns Adventure park, GCAP, and Iron Mountain Hot Springs, IMHS, products and offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Increase awareness of the two parks, increase guest visitors each year, and help ensure a positive experience for each guest each day.
• Work closely with management team, marketing team and chamber of commerce to ensure we are marketed in the best way possible.
• Work with management team to help set the direction of the company.
• Work with management team to ensure our marketing programs and brand are consistent and known by all departments. Ensure that all coupons are known and understood by park employees.
• Improve marketing and sales strategies to reach more markets.
• Manage guest surveys using Survey Monkey. Look at guest feedback to improve our product and message.
• Manage online reputation and reviews using Birdeye.
• Oversee social media efforts, bringing in influencers and turning our guests into promoters.
• Oversee marketing budget and submit monthly reports. Measure effectiveness of all marketing programs.
• Set sales goals and work with others to meet these goals.
• Look to streamline sales processes to ensure all departments are aware of what their responsibilities are.
• Manage website and website design including website traffic, search engine optimization, edits, updates, etc.
• Manage Siriusware webstore and update with seasonal pricing changes.
• Maintain domain names in GoDaddy.
• Manage marketing awareness staff including group coordinator, outside sales, social media and copy writer.
• Oversee donation requests and manage sponsorship requests.
• Pricing and calendar updates for both properties.
• Siriusware work – new buttons, specials, blackout dates, PAH layouts, etc…
• Manage mini-campaigns, sponsorships and promotions
• Hotel invoicing for direct bill and posting checks in Siriusware
• Manage all outside contractors:
• Manage ad placement including print ads, web site, television, radio, billboards and all other marketing mediums.
• Manage all graphic design of all marketing media including brochures, park maps, newspaper ads, special event signs and all property signage.
• Manage all public relations including editorials, blogs, and familiarization tours.
• Manage blog and website content writer.

• Increase annual pass sales.
• Increase group sales.
• Complete other duties as they are assigned.
• Coordinate GCAP presence at trade shows – booth, collateral, signage, etc.

Qualifications:

• Able to interpret both written & verbal instructions.
• Positive attitude and ability to get along with others.
• Be able to follow the “Love Works” philosophy.
• Very strong, verbal and written, communication.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and guide Marketing and others within department.
• Outstanding customer service.
• Listen to and follow direction accurately.
• 3+ years previous Marketing and/or Sales experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
