We’re in search of caring and motivated individuals to enter our Nursing Assistant Training Program and join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families in a rewarding and exciting environment. The ideal candidates will be passionate about helping others and be kind and patient with others. You must be able to read and write in English. This is an on the job training program and candidates should be willing to work at least every other weekend and several shifts during the week in addition to attending classes.

The classroom hours are unpaid, but there will be opportunity to work as an Emergency Temporary Nursing Assistant after the first 1-2 weeks of the program at which time you will be paid when you are working on the resident units.

This Class will start in late June, 2022 (after the end of school) and will meet Monday through Wednesday from 9:30am – 2:30pm.

You will be expected to sign a contract as this is an On-The-Job Training Program that we offer for prospective certified nursing assistants to work at Grace Barker Health.

All students must be fully vaccinated for Covid -19 and be willing to undergo a criminal record check.
