POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the leadership of the Dispatch & Operations Supervisors, the Transportation Coordinator
is responsible for supporting and monitoring aspects of revenue service operations, with an
emphasis on safety, quality of service and on-time performance, ensuring resources are available
to meet service commitments and effective radio communications to support field operations.
Provides leadership and establishes performance standards as outlined in the Strategic Plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
problems, operator and customer conflicts, complaints and disputes.
handle unruly/ill passengers by requesting medical assistance, obtaining law enforcement assistance or personally and professionally handling situations.
operations support staff.
needs of RTA regarding coverage of operations such as emergency situations, bus replacement and repair, re-routing
of buses, delays in service, and detours.
adverse weather, detours, and schedule changes.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED SCHEDULE:
Full time position – schedule may vary. Required to be on-call during assigned after-hours periods to address any emergency situations, including accidents, adverse weather and road conditions and serious incidents.

This is a full time, non-exempt, pay grade 13 position with an initial hiring range of $46,476 (minimum) to $58,097 (midpoint). Interested internal candidates must submit their Career Opportunity Application to Sean Urke in Human Resources no later than 05/12/2022 by 5:00 p.m.
