Guardian Healthcare is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Assistant / Van Driver for our Guardian Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center residents located in Altoona, PA. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

As a maintenance assistant you will be responsible for the general upkeep of all common areas and resident rooms. Interior maintenance duties include: painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and repair work. You’ll conduct daily tour of facility to check maintenance request books on each nurses’ station and in kitchen, and perform needed repairs as well as safety surveillance to monitor potentially unsafe work areas, equipment and practices. In addition to interior maintenance, you’ll be required to perform exterior seasonal lawn and grounds maintenance.

In addition driving responsibilities primarily driving our residents to their scheduled appointments outside the facility

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to work On-Call Hours
• Pass MVR Check
