POSITION SUMMARY

Harlow’s School Bus is searching for Recruiter to join our HR team! As the location recruiter you will partner with leadership to understand the needs of the business. The Driver Recruiter is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies with hiring managers including sourcing candidates from a variety of resources, abiding by labor law regulations and hiring the best possible talent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in development and execute recruiting plans.
• Operate and safely drive a school bus in either good or adverse weather, road and traffic conditions while transporting passengers to school or special events. Comply with traffic regulations while operating vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Participate in offsite recruiting such as job fairs and community event to engage potential candidates and maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Network through contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
• Administrative duties and recordkeeping.

• Work closely with location manager(s) and trainer to confirm training, test dates, and start dates.

• Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with drivers
• General knowledge of word, excel, and Microsoft Office
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge or willing to learn social media including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing recruiting techniques and practices

• Strong aptitude for using technology
• Obtain or Maintain Class B CDL with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) Endorsement.
• Obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
