IKEA Hiring for Retail Sales Associate Job at Palo Alto, CA Part Time

We’re looking for reliable, values-driven Retail Sales Associates to join our team! If you’re the right one for us, you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, are people oriented, and prefer to be on your feet throughout the day. You’re able to proactively engage the customer to provide in depth product knowledge, maintain store appearance to improve the customer shopping experience, offer additional products and services, and create genuine interactions with your retail sales expertise.

Shift would fall between these hours: 8:30AM-10:30PM (open, mid, or close)
MUST have availability: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday | OPEN availability preferred (you will have off 1 weekend per month. Schedule is released 4 weeks in advance)
Pay rate: $18.36/hr
Job type: Part-time, 20-34 hours per week
Job Description:

• Proactively engages the customer in various departments in order to provide in depth product knowledge in a non-commissioned environment

• Refers customers to the specialized selling teams as appropriate to build long term trust

• Offers IKEA Family, credit card, and other services to visitors to build loyalty and customer relationships

• Maintains store appearance to improve customer shopping experience

• Acts as Home Furnishing Host at store entrance to answers customers’ questions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
