Our core expertise is in small, lightweight, low cost radar systems for unmanned and manned aircraft, primarily in the military domain. We cover the entire lifecycle, often beginning with defining a market where none exists, designing and building the product, training the customer on how to use the system, and supporting it in the field with field service technicians or an embedded analyst team within the unit we support.

Job Description

You will develop and support existing software products that include, but are not limited to, programming Graphical User Interfaces, SQL database generation & querying, and general purpose computer programming. You must be capable of completing required tasks with little management oversight.

You must have the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of C++ (at least 3-5 years)
• At least 3-5 years developing desktop GUI software such as using Qt (or show experience in other applicable GUI software APIs)
• Relational databases (especially MySQL) and can generate database queries and understand architectures

We would like you to have these skills:

• Knowledge of network programming using sockets
• 3D graphics (especially OpenGL), image & video processing, and working with map & elevation data
• Lean Software Development Model (subset of Agile with hints of Scrum), git, Jira, and Confluence
• Ability to program in Windows and Linux environments and maintain portability

Other qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to learn quickly and work with large & complicated software
• High levels of creativity and quick problem solving capabilities
• Work well with others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
