Plan Provision Specialist

Job Type: Full-time Remote

Purpose of the role:
To develop knowledge of Client Relationship Group, retirement plan products and services, the overall financial markets, and the related legal, tax, and regulatory issues in order to respond accurately and thoroughly to client inquiries.

Below are the roles and responsibilities:

• Manages the full scope of plan provisions projects by developing, monitoring, and owning the project plan and schedule. Designs and implements the set-up and maintenance of all IIG systems for the specific plan provisions and services. Demonstrates recordkeeping system expertise consistently and utilizes knowledge to facilitate system validation for more complex projects.
• Interacts extensively with internal and external clients throughout projects to proactively consult on and position system capabilities, gather system requirements, identify and resolve issues, provide project statuses, and ensure client expectations are met. Leads the client discussion to understand and document plan provisions and workflows to accurately create the project workflow document for new clients. Collaborates and consults on plan provisions and system set-up with both internal and external partners.
• Manages all work timely and accurately that comes through various channels such as Service Center consultations, Plan Maintenance Requests, Plan Document Review and project assignments.
• Leads the setup of the system requirements to accurately reflect the plan sponsors legal document on our recordkeeping systems.
• Approaches role with a continuous improvement mindset, identifying gaps and offering suggestions to improve processes and workflows that would benefit Plan Provisions Specialists along with internal business partners and the client. Implement process efficiencies and ensure consistency with the process among peers and team members.
• Ensures accurate system and service set-up through documentation of project information, and execution of audit processes.
• Exhibits leadership among peers and proactively assists peers, team members, and others with issue resolution, mentoring, and training.
• Leads and participates in special projects and performs other related activities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of experience

Salary: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
