The HR Coordinator assists the HR Business Partner and the HR Department in various HR administration tasks, projects, and overall upkeep of the department. Responsible for the day-to-day general HR operations for the department including the following: staff recruiting and hiring, onboarding, HRIS Administration, performance review coordination, HR inquiries, training and development coordination and special projects. This position will report to the VP/Chief People Officer and work closely with the HR team.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Onboarding- continue employment process after reception of signed offer letter
• Send new hire offer letters to candidates and initiate onboarding process when offer letter is returned.
• Coordinate pre-employment process to include initiating drug screen/background process, TB tests, and onboarding questions. Follow up with new hires to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Manage the Malpractice process from new hire to offboarding.
• Collect all necessary forms to upload into HRIS system
• Provide backup to Recruiter for weekly New Hire Orientation.
• Track all new hires through the onboarding process

• Recruitment- Assist with candidate correspondence, requisition tracking, job board posts, onboarding and offboarding
• HRIS (ADP TotalSource) administration: onboarding, status updates/changes, employee inquires, timesheet corrections, separations.
• Coordinate with other departments with regard to onboarding new employees such as IT and Credentialing.
• Performance review administration: tracking, assignments, follow ups, merit increases
• Run bi-weekly merit increase report and enter merit increases into HRIS and sent Merit Increase letter to employee.
• Process HR related invoices including background check and recruiting invoices.
• Responsible for verification of employment and processing of garnishments and SUI Claims through ADP TotalSource.
• Create ad hoc reports for the HR team
• Maintain HR Inbox in conjunction with the HR & Office Assistant. Escalate major issues to HR Business Partner
• Serve as a backup to the HR & Office Assistant during absences
• Special projects as assigned
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AA in business administration, human resources, or another related field
• 3 plus years of experience in human resources required
• Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook calendaring and Power Point skills required
• ADP WorkForce Now or other HRIS experience required
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong team player and ability to work independently
