Jacobs Hiring for Government Accounting and Compliance Specialist/DCAA Audit Liaison – Remote Job at Herndon, VA Full Time

Jacobs is currently seeking a Government Accounting and Compliance Specialist/DCAA Audit Liaison for our Divergent Solutions operating unit (DVS). This position reports to the Senior Manager Government Compliance DVS under our Vice President of Government Compliance in the Finance organization and will be a key member of a dynamic, visible, and highly impactful team. This position will assist with supporting government compliance needs at both the intermediary home office and segment level.

This position is full-time remote and is open to candidates nationwide inside the United States.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in preparing annual Incurred Cost Submission(s), including all main schedules and supporting data/supplemental schedules
• Assist in gathering relevant information/data, coordinating, supporting, and reviewing audit responses to the Defense Contract Management Agency and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCMA/DCAA)
• Assist with negotiations of forward pricing cost rate agreements and/or incurred cost determinations
• Assist in preparation of general dollar magnitude and/or cost impact proposals
• Assist in “what-if” analysis for potential cost accounting structure and/or business environment changes
• Assist in review of business systems compliance
• Assist Rate Segments (self-assessments, analysis, compliance strategy development, and Corrective Action Request (CAR) and Control Account Plan)
• Assist with DCAA and DCMA Liaison Support
• Drive a continuous improvement environment through the development and implementation of government business controls and monitoring activities
• Perform other duties as required

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Experience with Finance and Government regulations including: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience communicating and presenting financial analysis to senior level leadership
• MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel-Pivot Tables

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with external and or internal audit teams
• Requires strong Microsoft aptitude especially with Excel and PowerPoint
• Advanced Degree and/or CPA/CIA
• Cyber Intelligence/Defense Industry Experience
• Knowledge of compliance with DFARS Business Systems

Typical salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
