Title: Clinical Supervisor/ASAM 3.1, Co-Occurring Capable RRS
Nature of Work: The Clinical Supervisor, with the Director of Operations, is responsible for the overall effectiveness of Jeremiah’s Inn Social Model Program of treatment for men with Co-Occurring Conditions, SUD/MH. This includes responsibilities for assessing and providing training and development needs of clinical team, individual supervision of clinical team members, annual reviews, facilitating weekly team meetings, coaching, mentoring and, where necessary disciplining team members as well as assisting with identifying and recruiting appropriate candidates for hire.
The Clinical Supervisor, with the Director of Operations, develops and ensures clinical programming that meets all DPH/BSAS requirements as well as programming designed to provide patients with a strong basis for lifelong adoption of living a clean and sober lifestyle. This includes adopting a holistic approach to recovery, highly individualized treatment planning, identifying resources and scheduling presentations, collaboration with outside community resources and ensuring smooth, effective delivery of programming in a “No One Size Fits All” treatment environment.
Other responsibilities may include establishing strong working relationships with referral sources for the residential program. Developing a strong internship program including establishing criteria for acceptance to JI internship, a training, development and activity plan for each intern, providing required documented supervision for use by the intern’s instructor and maintain good relationships with educational institutions that provide interns to JI. The Clinical Supervisor serves as the agency HIV/AIDS/HEP C Coordinator and Tobacco Education Coordinator. Production of weekly/monthly reports, provide documentation for insurance company concurrent reviews, assist in the production of funding reports and when needed assist with other Jeremiah’s Inn activity.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Director of Operations in an ever changing/flexible environment.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in counseling or related field
· Licensure or able to be Licensed in related field, LADC1, LMHC, LICSW etc.
· 1 Year of experience in substance abuse treatment and mental health services
· 1 year of experience in supervisor position
· Skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Crises Management and Conflict Resolution
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Sensitivity and open-mindedness
· Demonstrated Servant Leadership and Empowerment Leadership Style
· Knowledge of Social Model treatment program
· Familiarity with ASAM 6 Dimensions of Change
Work Schedule: 1FTE, Salaried/Exempt
Rotating holidays
· Experience with EHR, Virtual Gateway and EIM/ESM a plus
· Experience working in a Social Model Treatment Program a plus
· Bi-lingual, bi-cultural a plus
