We are seeking a hardworking Financial Analyst to provide cradle to grave project financial support to APL Space Programs.
As a Financial Analyst you will…
Have the financial responsibility of managing the funding and costs for space projects. This includes monitoring, analyzing, and interacting with PMs and customers on the financial status of space programs.
Provide support for a variety of program administrative functions including financial oral presentations, working with Contracts Administrators on contractual/funding issues and forecasts, preparing documentation in response to customer inquiries, and supporting general business issues.
Use the internal Planning Estimating and Enterprise Resource software in conjunction with Excel, to provide analysis of actual and projected costs. Your involvement will be to provide ad-hoc reporting and support customer briefings as required as well as prepare monthly financial reports.
Become involved in performing proposal pricing, lead proposal creation and development as well as assist Program Managers (PMs) in the understanding of solicitation requirements. We will rely on you to assist with the resource and procurement planning activities in the development of a proposal package. This will include working with Laboratory procurement organizations to acquire sufficient basis of estimates to support material and subcontract cost estimates. The role will be achieved by analyzing and utilizing cost history as applicable and support the government and commercial business activities as required. In the end, we see you owning the estimating and final cost proposal submission.
